Originally from Australia, Naomi Kazzi is a professional writer and multimedia journalist who has written for global publications. She started her career in community radio and was a finalist in the SBS Australia Youth Radio Feature competition. Naomi then moved into freelance writing before joining the Daily Mail newsroom in Sydney, Australia. Naomi lived in Switzerland for three years, where she wrote lifestyle pieces for The Local, Europe’s largest English-language news network, and worked as a teacher. Now based in the USA, she currently writes for The List website.

Naomi has also been commissioned for writing workshops and talks. Previously, she was a regular social commentator for the SBS Radio program and a panelist at an Australian State Government Multicultural Media Forum.

She holds a BA in Communications (Writing and Cultural Studies) and a Bachelor of Teaching from the University of Technology, Sydney.

In her spare time, Naomi enjoys performing stand-up comedy in some of NYC’s most prominent comedy clubs. She has also published a novel and is working on her second manuscript.
